FEA Engineer/Blast-Crash simulation engineer

Experience of using Hyperworks suite (Hypermesh, Hypercrash and post processing using Hypergraph and Hyperview)

Experience in using LS Dyna to run simulation models with blast pulse applied

Create FEA models using 1D, shell and solid meshing, create boundary conditions, loads, forces, material properties etc.

Technical Sales Manager

As a Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling ArmourWorks' products to the key defence vehicle manufacturers and body armour end users in the UK, Europe and South East Asia. 

Job Requirements: 

• Knowledge of the Defence Market  in Europe
• Actively selling to Defence manufacturers in UK and Europe
• Technically competent in survivability products or the potential to be trained
• Tenacious winner in the Defence market
• Innovative thinker
• Interface with and motivate distributors

Key Accountabilities:

• Implement Sales Strategy
• Meet agreed sales targets
• Develop new sales relationships to increase business volume
• Identify and exploit business opportunities
• Bring in new customers while retaining existing ones
• Study the market to provide focused, well-researched forecasts that will support the company's business planning
• Work with the Marketing and Engineering to ensure product development fits with market expectations
• Work with Marketing to support exhibitions and promotional activities
• Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry
• Set up Distribution network

HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Design Engineer

As a design engineer you will responsible for design using Solidworks, creating Bill of Materials, Generate build instructions & documentation, File conversion and Data management duties, sales support as required and on site meetings & presentations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Produce Blast Seat design from first principle ideas, or modify exsisting product
• Design products to comply with Local Road Legislation and Defence Standards where applicable 
• Learn and understand Blast event data and apply it to designs
• Follow company procedures as detailed in the company handbook
• Keep office work area clean and tidy
